Hi all,

I'm looking to confirm which of Emily Dickinson's poems appear in Jane Hirshfield's book 'Women In Praise of the Sacred' (1995)

The book is out of print, and Google is not being forthcoming.

Any help would be much appreciated.

@svenja Hello! Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my article.

It's great to meet you here.

Take care,

Casey

I am experienced in allowing my grief to move my pen, or move my fingers over my keyboard.
I am less practiced in talking about how my experience of disability impacts my grieving process.

Last month I was given an opportunity by Let's Talk About Loss for #DisabilityPrideMonth

Reach Out Your Hand: On Finding the Courage to Ask for Help - Let's Talk About Loss

This essay I wrote in 2020 is the closest I have come to a mission statement.

Realising it was no longer available online made me sad, so I fixed that and rehomed it on Substack.

Reflections on the role of poetry

As I await the opportunity to share my latest published work, I want to share a piece that I rediscovered recently…with a few adjustments.

Early April is a tender time for me.

In today's #Substack post, I share a little about why alongside a new way to engage with my work.

A Loving Remembrance

Plus a new way to engage with my work.

In my latest #Substack post, I'm reflecting on an experience from last summer in my favourite woodland. A kind stranger went out of their way, and I didn't get to thank them.

Milestones and Stepping Stones: Time and Grief

One of the anomalies of grief is the impact that it has on our relationship with time. That is something I think about frequently, and what I decided to write about today.
