Home timeline: People you follow Local timeline: People on the same server as you Federated timeline: People your server knows about (Local + other servers) If you are new, your home timeline will be empty. There is no algorithm so you decide what shows up there. Good luck building your own social network experience! It can be as busy or relaxed as you want it to be.

N2DYII just made a small change to my parrot script for Allstar node 55553, which should result in better stats reporting for signals with a loud squelch tail. The stats generator now won't hear the tail, which would confuse the average if it is significantly louder than other recorded audio, but it will still be played back. Basically, I've trimmed the last 300ms of audio being fed into SoX for stats, but the full file is played back through the parrot.

1. Photo captions are read by screenreaders for people who have impaired vision. The more descriptive you make them, the more people can appreciate your post.
2. Hashtags should be "camel style" which means you capitalize each word in the tag - this enables screen readers to identify different words in the tag,
3. Reblogging boosts posts and favourites do not.
4. Hashtags are way more important here than on the birdsite.
