I need another season of 1899 immediately.
Living in Kentucky while working for a Canadian company hasn't been weird until today. I'm almost in full holiday mode, eagerly anticipating Turkey Claus. They've already had their Thanksgiving, and it's not the same thing anyway. I'm gonna continue using all turkey emotes in chat this week, regardless.
By the time you are 30, you should be a moderator of at least 10 Discords and Mastodon instances, a third of which you later realize you're now the admin of because the original founder just assigned it to you before they walked into the woods never to return
I started watching 1899 and goodness is this info handy to know before you start: https://www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/watching-1899-on-netflix-make-sure-you-change-this-one-setting/
Watching '1899' on Netflix? Make Sure You Change This One Setting

If you don't switch from the dub, a lot of this show doesn't make sense.

Was really not feeling it today prior to running our session of Strahd. But this is such a great group. The planned encounter went a little screwy, almost the entire party went down at one point after a fireball went astray. BUT. They came up with a new group name, bought a domain based on that group name, and are setting up a mastodon server there. So. I might have found where I'm migrating to, lol.
So. Knowing I haven’t been a big Pokémon person in my life this far, but am interested in the current game for its open world nature… which version, Violet or Scarlet, should I get and why?

In this morning’s D&D session, my players let slip that they’ve been strategizing together between sessions behind my back.

I’m so proud.

#CaturdayMastodon #Caturday this wee ratbag just (gently, no skin broken) bit me so I would get off "her" chair. CW: grumpy, sleepy eye contact
I just realized the mug I use frequently has something other than what I’d thought it said written on it. Like. I’ve used this for months and thought it had complete different words on it. I… am having a moment.

I really like the favorite/boost/bookmark distinctions. I also like the fact that here you have to go back to the original post to talk--my brain says lovechild of Twitter and Pillowfort. Also, accountability, woohoo!

So. In my view.

Favorite: HEY YOU this was a COOL THING.

Boost: HEY EVERYONE this was a COOL THING.

Bookmark: HEY ME don't forget about this COOL THING.

Reply: OMG WHAT A COOL THING can we TALK about it?
