Nixon was not shamed into resigning. He resigned because his own party told him he no longer had their support, and if he didn't resign, would be impeached and convicted.

Like Trump, Nixon wanted the shred the Constitution. And we stopped him. Let's do it again.

Donald Trump. who could release the Epstein files but somehow hasn't yet, may send troops to D.C. because crime is at a 30 year low.

He's desperate to deflect from Epstein. Let's keep the pressureon.

AG Brown sues Trump administration for withholding climate funding | Washington State

SEATTLE – Attorney General Nick Brown today filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration for illegally withholding more than $9 million in congressionally authorized funds to help protect Washington state from the impacts of climate change. Our changing climate has increased the frequency and severity of life-threatening hazards in Washington such as heatwaves, wildfires, drought, and flooding, and caused slower moving but devastating changes such as sea level rise, ocean acidification, and loss of mountain snowpack.

Regarding the U.S. federal government, things have been bad and they are getting worse. That they are headed downhill is unsurprising, at least to me. The Republican Fascist Party’s antidemocratic authoritarian consolidation is much closer to its beginning than its end. Those of us committed to pluralistic constitutional democracy have to be in it for the long haul. 1/

The $170 million is “an abnormal amount to pay for tax advice, yet no satisfactory explanation has been provided as to why Black paid Epstein such extraordinary sums without a written contract or agreement,”
