My artist name is a reference to nagoonberries, a rare Alaskan berry. No reference to the movie Blue Lagoon intended; I haven't seen it and hear it's quite problematic!

My big debut gig went great! It's been my main focus for months now and I'm happy to say it paid off. Everything came together and we had a blast. Here's a clip of one of the covers we did!

Quick snap from rehearsal for my big debut gig on March 14. For this show I decided to learn how to program lights and invested in some stage lighting. It's been a challenge but very fun as well! Can you tell I like purple?!

I've been quiet online but busy off. I have a gig penciled in. I got some sweet lighting equipment and have been learning how to program/sync it. I connected with an awesome drummer and am reaching out to singers. I'm so excited to put on a killer show. It feels good to look forward to stuff. 🫣

I love that episode, one of my favorites from DS9. I know there was controversy about Sisko's actions but I liked the bit of moral uncertainty and thought it was consistent with his arc through the show.

That's wild! Past me also makes some odd decisions. The worst is when I recorded guitar in an odd tuning and I don't remember what it was, it's nearly impossible to figure out again.

@KydiaMusic I REALLY like your voice on this song, it's a great match for your dramatic delivery!

I hear some processing that I'm not fond of, some kind of pitch correction that's set really tight maybe? Some movements sound robotic, like on "do you wanna hear about the deal that I'm making." I feel like having the vocals so heavily processed robs them of some of the humanity that this song wants (the jumpy melodies shouldn't always land exactly on pitch) and that I associate with the original.
