Israel Violates Lebanon Ceasefire 140 Times, Targets Border Crossings - Quds News Network
Beirut (Quds News Network)- Israel continues to breach the fragile ceasefire with Lebanon, which came into effect on November 27. Early Friday, Israeli forces entered the towns of Aitaroun in Nabatieh and Ayta Al-Shaab in Bint Jbeil. The incursion included movements of tanks and military vehicles. Lebanese news agency NNA reported that Israeli forces used medium machine guns during a sweeping operation in Ayta Al-Shaab overnight. On Thursday evening, an Israeli airstrike in the same town injured five people, further violating the ceasefire agreement. The ceasefire agreement included key conditions: Israeli forces must withdraw south of the Blue Line within 60 days, and Lebanese Army and security forces are tasked with controlling the border and southern regions. Despite this, Israel has committed 140 ceasefire violations, killing 14 Lebanese and injuring 18 others.
Dead but not counted: Hidden victims of Pakistan’s latest political clash
Islamabad, Pakistan – Anees Shehzad’s death certificate says he died from a pelvic injury and gunshot wound. He was killed while protesting alongside thousands of supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the capital, Islamabad, on November 26, following clashes with security forces. Khan’s party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) insists that he was among a dozen civilians killed in police firing that day. However, according to the government, no protester was killed, not even Shehzad, 20. A week after PTI members laid siege to Islamabad and were subsequently dispersed in a late-night operation by law enforcement agencies, the government and the PTI are locked in a tense standoff over conflicting accounts of the number of casualties during those clashes. While some PTI leaders initially said hundreds of supporters had been killed, party chairman Gohar Ali Khan later said the number of dead protesters stood at 12. Attaullah Tarar, the federal information minister, mocked that discrepancy in a message on social media platform X on Tuesday. “These bodies will only be found on TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp. They are playing politics of jokes and lies with the nation,” Tarar wrote in his message in Urdu.
Israeli army bolsters presence in Golan Heights as Syria destabilized
In response to developments in Syria, the Israeli army announced that it increased its presence in the Golan Heights, deploying forces to key locations in the demilitarized zone. The move, as per the Israeli army, is aimed at securing Israeli settlements in the area and protecting the safety of Israeli settlers, given concerns over potential militant incursions. Meanwhile, Syrian sources suggested that “Israel” is constructing a buffer zone along its border with Syria. Israeli media outlets also reported that the Israeli government has issued directives to its ministers, instructing them not to speak publicly about Syria without prior approval. The Maariv newspaper added that “Israel” is engaged in discussions with certain factions within Syria, though details remain limited.
It's fascinating how, despite LEGALLY having nothing to do with one another, the court cases against Trump were decided by his successful election.
Remember when a judge postponed court dates for the 2020 election case (the coup attempt) due to the upcoming election? Now they're paused indefinitely.
We pretend this law is infallible, yet it crumbles in front of our very eyes, as we must learn a certain truth: it has always been this way, we were just blind to the injustices.
Many who voted for Trump and many, many more who couldn’t be bothered to vote at all are already seeing the loss of employment benefits such as overtime pay. After trump officially takes office the erosion of benefits will be expanded to include rights and freedoms taken for granted by most Americans.
