@tuneintodetuned @privacyguides europeans can still apply. :)
@iduction @privacyguides @bitsoffreedom Yes it is in dutch. Bits of freedom is a dutch organization and their guide is aimed at less technical dutch readers, which we are now supporting. Remember, the right to privacy is a global fight :).

The Threat That Makes Encryption Useless

@nateb @sr HIGHLIGHT HIGHLIGHT !
@nateb @sr RELEASE THE RANT CUT!
Absolutely infuriating that Proton Pass only allows password imports *via a browser extension* and not in ANY of their applications. This isn’t just inconvenient—it’s risky. People have to transfer unencrypted files across devices, risking leaks. And what about users who *only* have a phone? They’re forced to manually retype every password. Not everyone on the planet has money for a laptop, especially in third world countries. #Proton #ProtonPass #passwordmanagers

@ph00lt0 @eloy I personally have set up a lot of network with them for friends and family as a cheap mesh solution as most of them had a low budget, and so far all of them have been positive about their new setup.

Mind you these are A technical users who do not have the highest expectations of their networks.

@ph00lt0 @eloy well of the provider provided router options, i think fritzbox is on of the better ones. Solid software support and lots of config options.

@Cambion I do it both for supporting my favorite musicians, and my disdain for modern streaming services.

I buy them of the european service called Qobuz, and then download them locally. It feels nice that its all local without an internet connection. Its all "mine" and no service can take it away.

@Cambion I recently started buying my music as well, but I personally buy them digitally and keep the .flac files :)
