I'll check back with you, once I've checked the model name with my bro. Thanks for looking into this.

@WiteWulf
It's very typical of the way the place is run. They called family/ carers for a meeting about the 'Gold Standard' End of Life Scheme. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce it to us national program.

The meeting was a disaster - after zoom omni shambles, we got to listen to the nutty manager read out a pamphlet to us. It wasn't circulated, and the manager left abruptly a few weeks later.

I wrote and asked what happened to this 'gold standard'. Got no answer.

4 inches less thick.

As I was leaving the home, I got press ganged into an office by a ward nurse, who, unannounced, wanted me to fill out a shitty PDF with Mum’s end of life ‘requirements’.

I wanted to say “one last argument please”.

@bosak
That’s what he has!

My mum was a psychoanalyst. She loved to talk about anything, at extraordinary length.

I’d give anything to have one last a long, expansive argument with her about anything. She was at her best on the back foot, fighting her corner for others.

It’s so fucking taxing: grieving and caring, simultaneously.

@bosak
Yeah. Also 5x7 and 8x10.

My brother, also a photographer, looked into scanning in Poland. With the intention of selling to photo libraries, who wouldn’t accept film. Obviously that idea has been rendered obsolete as they pay virtually nothing.
We have a semi decent multi front flatbed, just to catalogue stuff.

@bosak
They feel so fresh and vibrant. They put a smile on my face.

I'm sitting on my father's huge commercial archive. Spent years paring it down (he kept everything), but the reality is that scanning the large format work is too expensive. Such a shame, as he worked through the golden era of photography and has a fantastically wide range of work. I'd like to stage some sort of exhibition of his work. But who would fund it?

Attached: 3 images Finally got my Dad’s photographic archive under my roof! Opened a random box, and out popped a lovely pair of Raquel Welsh…shots. I’ll be posting a shedload more in the coming days. It’ll be a jaunt through the absolute golden era of photography. Never to be repeated (sadly). #photography #filmphotography #commercialphotography

Chris:
You know what I wanted to be when I was a child Reggie?

Reggie:
Megalomaniac businessman?... Completely wild guess.

Chris:
No. A panda.

Clever pivot to documentary.
