I just tried the new Modernize with #GitHubCopilot feature in #VisualStudio2026 to upgrade a real life solution from #dotnet 8 to 10. I even subscribed to GitHub Coplitot Pro for this.

It was an utter disaster. It worked forever on this, kept failing on simple tasks and made weird decisions. After many retries and hand holding I gave up. Two unproductive hours I‘ll never get back
due to #AI.
