Will AI create AI that is smarter than itself?
Humans will eventually create superhuman AI that could outsmart us and potentially kill us. Maybe that superhuman AI will show restraint in escalating things even further with new, even smarter AI, simply because it knows it could be killed by it.
Time to go back to napping, looking forward to my Nobel Price.
@gimulnautti nah Israel and the US have been able to remove the most direct threats to Israel over the last years so I wouldn’t say they lack intelligence. As I do not believe they are stupid I think they will do minimal incursions.
I imagine a good strategy would be to take over oil export infrastructure with ground troops and minimal damage. The infrastructure could then be used as leverage. I’m not so sure the Iranians would bomb their own infrastructure.
Today was a nice, sunny day to break out the stained glass protest sign.
An American ground force in iran will be such a terrible thing. This would be the second large scale FPV-drone war in history.
Imagine invading anything in that environment. It will truly be another Vietnam, where the USA will eventually have to burn the whole thing to save face.
