Small LLMs - mostly locally run - is the future for everything but the most resource demanding calculations. These AI companies will not get their money back, as most calculations are not that demanding.

Ukrainian troops tested launching the Ukrainian-American Hornet kamikaze drone from a balloon. The aerostat carried the drone 42 km and released it from 8 km altitude, while the UAV used only 5% of its battery. The method extends range by combining balloon distance, high-altitude release and battery preservation, potentially pushing strike reach 1.5 to 2 times beyond the current 100 to 150 km. #Ukraine

hahaa! Successfully removed all IR and UV filters from my old Canon EOS 600D, I can do full spectrum, UV and IR photography now!

All of the following photos have been taken with a ~550nm+ lpf, meaning cutting everything under 550nm (blue, purple and uv) off. I love the vibrant pink foliage and dramatic turquoise skies #photography
