What makes LLMs work isn't deep neural networks or attention mechanisms or vector databases or anything like that.
What makes LLMs work is our tendency to see faces on toast.

One of my persistent critiques of Github is that it presents "issues" as a top-level concern, a peer of the code. Assuming you enable them (and if you don't enable them, you HAVE to enable their close cousin, pull requests) there's ALWAYS somewhere to say "I have a problem".
By contrast, there is no UI affordance anywhere to say "thank you".
I try to make a habit of saying "fuck it" to that design, and just filing issues like this one anyway. Nobody's complained so far. https://github.com/amolenaar/amolenaar/issues/1
Nach ein Woche Arbeit mit der Logitech Ergo K860 Tastatur bin ich extrem zufrieden.

Ich habe sie jetzt noch mit einer Logitech Lift Mouse gepaart. Auch wenn meine Hand selten an der Maus ist, hat sie nun auch hier eine komfortable Position. :)
