Okay, I'll go first to help inspire others!
I'm Aidan, nickname Bird. I was denied federal disability despite having LongCovid and other chronic illnesses. I lost my job recently. Need help with housing, food, and utilities. My cat and I live alone with friends helping sometimes.
Housing bill is 790 a month. Utilities around 120.
Any help appreciated!

As Tinu inspired this mutual aid project, we'd like to honor @Tinu and all the work she does for the #disability community. So please aid her as well! She is dealing with cancer and various illnesses and still doing the work over on Twitter and here.

Link to paypal, ko-fi, venmo, cashapp, gofundme or similar sites where you can receive funds. If a shop, include a direct link to your shop.
Add #MutualAidRequest hashtag and any related to your ask or community. Avoid overtagging - if hashtags are more than a quarter of your message, you likely won’t get a lot of boosts.

Chronically ill peeps! I need advice!
I am having a family emergency that requires a LOT of work from me and is incredibly stressful. It's been going on for weeks and it will continue for at least another 2. I finally have hit a flare, and was up all night in fibromyalgia agony. My stomach is upset, and I am exhausted. It is not an option for me to truly rest.
What are yalls tips for managing flares through crisis, when true rest isn't available, but I also can't afford to incapacitate myself. I am walking a VERY fine line here.
I am autistic, have panic disorder, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, CCI, and a bunch of other stuff.

Some folks filter http (not as a whole word) so they have a secondary warning of links in posts to avoid accidental clicks.
If you use the text link method of doing links, such as using markdown's links on GlitchSoc, it escapes said filter.
Consider adding to posts at the end when you use such type of links "http" or "#http" so that the keyword is there in the post and so doesn't escape said filter.
It's annoying, defeats the purpose somewhat of text labeled links, but it avoids escaping filters.
I have waited three months to share this with y’all.
In the fall of 2022, literally thousands of computers flooded eBay, with a brand name few knew, at a rock-bottom price of $59.99 plus shipping. A YouTuber did a video about them and the machines—2,200 in all—went viral.
Where did they come from? Why were there so many? I spent the last few months determining this answer. And well, it’s a story.
