@galacticstone they killed retirement pensions and moved everyone into a 401k so instead of being cared for by the company that your spent your life working at your retirement is at the whim of Wall St investors.
So the boomers are absolutely addicted to wall st. They literally rely on it for survival at this point.
The rest of us have been barred from entry because the boomers love to shut the door behind them. Good riddance. Let it burn.
@Radio_Azureus America is governed by an ideology that is essentially a cult of individualism. The further right on the political compass you get, the stronger the indoctrination into that cult. But it is also the reason the left is so fractured here
