Shower Thought: why do we always think if we find aliens, they’d be in the goldilocks zone?

Isn’t it much more likely that aliens will be genuinely alien to us? Don’t breathe oxygen (or even breathe), tolerant to burning or freezing temperatures, maybe even vulnerable to water (sorry, Shyamalan).
