Another good example of the greatest democracy in the world at work. This time in the South Australia state election.

The far-right, racist, One Nation (ONP) getting no seats. Despite the right-wing, racist, media frothing over them for months and banging on about how they are going to win so many seats.

Compulsory voting and preferential voting is great at keeping the extremists at bay.

Apple Maps for the #AusGP shows the track and gates that are useful to people while the grand prix is on. Google maps just shows you a couple of places that have paid for ads.

This. This is so spot on. I could rant for days about the damage Thatcher & Reagan did to the world. People think Obama and the orange guy were consequential presidents - they weren't. They didn't really do anything much. We're still living in a Reagan/Thatcher world!
