Hi all. It's been a week! But today I am off from work and was productive and finished writing a paper and took a quiz. Now I'll have an early dinner. Bruno and I are going to see Graham Nash in concert this evening. We've seen him before but he's always great!
Hi all. I had to go current because I have been away from the computer since Friday. I was at a bluegrass and roots music festival all weekend and then back to work and dealing with an accessibility issue with one of my assignments for my course. It's straightened out but took going to the chair of the department to get it resolved. I'm pretty tired!
@brian_hartgen I'm late but happy happy birthday!
Good morning. Monday begins. Weekends go by way too quickly!
After that we stopped at a confectionary and bought 2 pies: one chocolage cream and the other 3 berry. Soooo good!
We celebrated Bruno's birthday this weekend. We went to our favorite local Mexican restaurant, Desperados, last night. I had a coconut shrimp salad. Today we went up to Manchester VT to Mulligans for lunch. Bruno had scallops and I had a shrimp and spinach flatbread. We shared calamari for an appetizer.
I'm excited. I got tickets for 2 concerts in October: Graham Nash on the 4th and Richard Thompson with his full band on the 11th. So fun!
Hi all. It's a very slow Saturday here as I am trying to recover from quite a long and hellish week. My peopling threshold has reached its limit so it will be naps, books and zucchini fritters today and that's the extent of it.
Today was a good day. We took a ride to our favorite hot dog place. So good! I had a chili cheese dog and a west coast dog which has cream cheese and roasted red peppers on it. It was a lovely day for a ride.
Please stop using "blindness" as a lazy synonym for "ignorance" in your writing. If there’s one thing about Blind folks: we survive and thrive by being perceptive, observing patterns and responding to cues. Not only is this use of "blindness" rude — it's uninformed. Mistaken. Obtuse. Naive. Counterfactual. There you go — five better ways to say "ignorant" than "Blind"
