My advice to old and young people alike: Try to change this horrible system. Use a pseudonym if you must, use your real name if you’re brave and/or foolish. But speak up when your employer prefers to see only worker drones instead of people.

I just noticed how IntelliJ has this incredibly useful YAML editor feature, where it keeps the context visible while you scroll through a long file.

I just had the hardest time getting an LLM to admit that “verflucht” is a totally normal Dutch word. It insisted that it was German. So either “the smell of paint” or “cursed”.

So actually, this turns out to be the real thing. Real European law that Google has to comply with. I did go to their form and unlinked everything. And today I got this reminder mail. The button goes to this form. Notice how it’s not possible to confirm that I unlinked everything. But I don’t need to. Nice try though.
