This morning’s Mastodon experience:

Someone posted something factually incorrect.

I posted a correction.

They replied with ‘I stand corrected, thank you’.

Not with ‘well, but actually…’. Not with some bizarre rationalisation.

And that’s why I like it here (and it works both ways, when I’m wrong, people here politely correct me too).

📷 Stopped by the Circle K this afternoon to say goodbye to "Lil'" Kim.

There are two Kim's on staff, and co-workers nicknamed them "Big Kim" and "Lil' Kim." She's a self-described "Old Hillbilly hippie daughter of a preacher!"

I love making her laugh. "Eddie! You're crazy! ❤️

Just a note for the next time anyone schedules a conference in Texas:

It is now literally illegal for trans people to use the bathroom there.

Your trans friends and colleagues are going to be silently judging you for hosting events in a place it's illegal for them to exist when there's lots of other states to pick from.
