We made a mistake, but we are trying to fix it.
When we first introduced Medjool Dates to our refills, they were sourced from Jordan, and we were unaware that the origin had changed when placing our latest order with the same supplier. Had we known, we would not have chosen to stock this batch and would have found an alternative.
After confirming with our supplier, it has come to our attention that the country of origin of our latest batch is Israel.

Back in the shop, we have also welcomed new makers into The Fair Alternative, bringing more independent creativity onto the shelves. A simple but positive month. ♻️

At our Sheffield refill shop, you can bring your own containers, even something unexpected, and refill essentials like washing up liquid or laundry products. We also have labels available to help keep track of what is inside.
In April, our community added 1025 refills, bringing the 2026 total to 3625 single-use bottles and packaging items saved from SESI refills alone 🌍
