As the owner of a small business, I have to juggle many tasks and wear a different hat multiple times a day. Unfortunately, sometimes the fine details like this are overlooked, and as we stock such a large number of products now, mistakes can happen, so I take responsibility for this one, but I have raised our concerns about the sourcing of this product with our supplier and will be looking for an alternative in the future.

We know this will be upsetting and disappointing for some members of our community, but we want to be honest and transparent about it.
Rather than allowing a large quantity of the product to create food waste, we have decided that all profits from sales of this batch will be donated locally through Small Park BIG RUN on 20th and 21st June. The donation will support Sheffield Palestine Cultural Exchange and Sheffield Palestine Women’s Scholarship Fund.
We made a mistake, but we are trying to fix it.
When we first introduced Medjool Dates to our refills, they were sourced from Jordan, and we were unaware that the origin had changed when placing our latest order with the same supplier. Had we known, we would not have chosen to stock this batch and would have found an alternative.
After confirming with our supplier, it has come to our attention that the country of origin of our latest batch is Israel.
