I posted this as a joke a few days ago and noted it was suspicious that it looked like me. It was me. From #Google #Gemini.

I was not asked permission for this. I am deleting my Google Gemini account and sticking to #localAI.

This is little off-topic (for me) as I am/was not a fan of "All My Children," the long-running TV Soap Opera. My *mother* was! I would love to see these objects in the hands of a real fan if you are or know one. I mean, Erica Kane's somehow autobiography seems rare...

Just some musing on information these days in our media & culture. Edits, notes, thoughts, anyone? #charts #information #disinformation #minformation #bullsh!t

We could use a bit of this right now.

Oh, AI writing HTML... so close.

During those few, brief moments when I'm bored, I enjoy making LLMs re-write sentences in emoji.

Cultural myths debunked by science are so harmful! The "#alphadog" MYTH from *flawed* wolf studies (see article) has been co-opted by the #manosphere and #fabertising, where it's used to promote machismo as a male instinct, despite contrary evidence. Dominance hierarchies *are not* the default in wolves or even most apes!โ€”(which we are)โ€”making such pursuits misguided. #alphamyth #science #culture #ScienceDebunksCulture

Is the Alpha Wolf Idea a Myth?

The idea that wolf packs are led by a merciless dictator, or alpha wolf, comes from old studies of captive wolves. In the wild, wolf packs are simply families

This drives me crazy! Cultural myths! The "#alphadog" MYTH from *flawed* wolf studies (in the 70s and retracted since 1999) has been co-opted by the #manosphere, where it's used to promote aggressive machismo as a natural male instinct, despite scientific debunking. Dominance hierarchies *are not* the default in wolves or even most apes!โ€”making such pursuits misguided pseudoscience. #alphamyth #science #culture #ScienceDebunksCulture

During COVID, I wrote and mailed a lot of creative fun letters to folks. People really loved it. So, is this a crazy idea? What if you created a service that used an LLM to create a pen pal for you? You write letters, mail them, they get scanned, answered, a reply is printed with a handwriting font and mailed back to you? Is that too anachronistic? Something about is really amusing me.
