@mononcqc I'd very much appreciate any feedback/thoughts.

Do you genuinely love log statements, or harbour some bizarre obsession with them!?

NO? Then, you may enjoy reading about the Log Quad: a semantic framework to evaluate your telemetry, and fine-tune your infrastructure bill.

Where exactly, beyond the hype of "vibe-coding" and "instant solution" potions, AI can deliver sustainable value?

I recently took the machine to the depths of a 100k+ LoC system for a sizeable refactoring and what I realised was that:
The most profound gains come from adapting to the new division of labour; Brain-Work (human wisdom) and Brain-Toil (repetitive mechanical reasoning).

Brain-Work, Brain-Toil and Mentoring AI Agents

How human wisdom & AI labour redefine code refactoring. A case study separating brain-work from brain-toil for profound, sustainable software value.

@hrefna As if Democrats or Republicans or whatnot are machineries or forces. Things that are self-contained in a way that their momentum, efficiency and visibility stems from something mystical deep inside. Things that are not affected by one's day-to-day decisions and actions.

@jik It is no doubt AI. I've seen this as a trend picking up only a few months ago.

I don't understand; what is the glory in submitting a PR to an OSS project generated by AI? It's like winning in chess by using the computer. What's the satisfaction?

Unless it is driven by some financial motif it doesn't make any sense.

I sincerely hope the Americans are able to break this.

But if not, and if past history is any indication, they should brace for an "elite" office to take over ICE in in a couple of years.

I've read history books and I've seen the pattern, first hand, as it happened in Iran after the 1979 revolution.

I wanted to use AI agents; badly! But I kept struggling. I just couldn't understand how they can be anything special.

Happily, over time I got to know The Machine beyond the hype and developed a mindset that helped me speak its language.
