@seabass @bkuhn For what it’s worth, in France we call it "guerre de sécession", which seems closest to "war between the states".
By the way: I followed your instruction and didn’t vote, but a "I didn’t grow up in the USA" choice would have been nice to let people like me see the poll’s result and be notified when it has ended.
