Yeah. It’s bonkers times. A direct asked me what he should do to protect his career from AI. I told him to take up plumbing.
But then I wonder if I’m like an engineer insisting there’s no way to do engineering without using a slide rule and calculators are going to ruin the world
Me, getting new car: “keyless entry? What the hell is that about? How hard is it to get out a key?”
Me, a few months later driving an older car: “WTF? I have to get the key out of my pocket. Is this the goddamn dark ages??”
It’s not that I _want_ to watch the world burn, but the damn thing’s burning so I’m trying to follow Ted Lasso’s advice to “be curious and not judgmental” and enjoy the show.
