I’ve been thinking for a while about how sci-fi serves a predictive function, allowing us to “war game” scenarios and response options. After reading the linked article here, I’ve purchased the book “Mini-Forest Revolution “ which supposedly provides a primer on how to actually grow a forest following these principles. I’m aware of research casting doubt on some of the claims, but my main interest is plant density for sound insulation and privacy and this approach seems to accomplish that.
