My app is an "Audio Unit".
That is literally the entire point of it (and this is an update, it hasn't changed!!).
Of course you need GarageBand (or another DAW to use it). It even says that on launch!!
Same app compiled for macOS was approved with no issue

Solution?
1. Find slow method
2. Swizzle to do nothing
3. Profit and pray there's no bad side-effects
