This is the old alternator on our bus we live in. It's knackered, and we only found this out for sure in the last few days. We need a new alternator for the engine to power its own systems and lights and such while driving along.

A new alternator is on Amazon for this engine for like $170 but we obviously do not have the funds.

We need to move the bus nearer to @Kuniti_shino 's new job ASAP so we can start getting some money in for ourselves without always needing to ask for mutual aid. But right now, please help!

Somewhere between being born with a silver spoon in their mouth and never having to search for a job in this world as it is now, lies the exact pivot about which they perform mental somersaults sufficient to believe their own bullshit.

In these screenshots, I have not censored the username of the asshole because they deserve getting called out for this crap.

If I had a choice, I would not be here asking for help. I would be offering it.

Today has been a productive day with the #Vulpibus bed #woodwork. I'm making four triangular brackets with three pieces of pallet wood each, using some basic #joinery techniques to make them stronger without making them too bulky or heavy. The jigsaw was bought from Harbor Freight for a sensible price and I'm using solar power and hand tools.

These brackets will be part of what holds up the bunk bed in the back.

To keep the Vulpibus progressing, your help is very much needed. We're in strong need of engine maintenance, a towing dolly, LiFePO4 bluetooth monitored batteries and some plumbing fittings. I also have debts to cover including the IRS.

I've got a little bit of paid work tomorrow but it's only going to scratch the surface of our needs.

Failed attempt at joinery. I will fix it by replacing the top part which has split badly (not very obvious in pictures). It's going to be one of four supports for my bed frame on the walls of the bus.

Today we have side #solar panel 2/10, 16/24 overall, mounted on the #Vulpibus. We also worked out (mentally at least) the design for the bedroom and bathroom wall. We bought some reflective strips for vehicular safety, 2 guage wire connectors, more bolts and screws and more drill and screwdriver bits (they break often when working on thick steel with unknown overlaps behind it) today. To get more done, we need some #fedihelp #mutualaid #funding to cover the cost of hinges, screws and wood, as well as getting much needed tyres fitted and covering numerous bills.
