@drohm @hippietywhoop how Mastodon used to do "Messages" was not really direct messages, but instead just a regular post that @ mentioned the recipient and set the post to be visible only by the recipient.
That's why the feature itself is no longer called Private Messages or Direct Messages and instead called Private Mentions, which is what it is. A proper DM feature doesn't exist on Mastodon as of yet, it's just that some frontends and clients have UI that show these private mentions as DMs.
@rogueren ah
Unfortunately I can't test anything stream deck related

@rogueren @KyloNeko I wonder what exactly were they not able to do.

Currently on Bazzite myself, and OBS flatpak with a bunch of plugins/VNyan with vkcapture.

So I wonder what plugins were being an issue, or what VTubing program. (Because Ren and I both know, Warudo simply doesn't work now)

It's Trans Day of Visibility today and we're sending love and solidarity to trans people everywhere - whether you're able to be open about being trans or not.

It's also the 5th birthday of our website! Yes, our website launched on 31st March 2020 and was the catalyst for TransActual becoming the organisation that it is today.

One of our first pages was our crowd-sourced definition of transphobia: https://transactual.org.uk/transphobia

Transphobia – TransActual

@dazo @Remittancegirl from what I understand, the sign-in requirement is an opt-in user privacy setting, which this account has chosen to enable for themselves, and not a sign-in forced by Bluesky.

@weddige @dansup from what I understand, it's the same feature. The availability announcement is more so for the mobile apps.

I guess the difference on the web UI side is extra polish and it'll be enabled on the flagship server.

No I have nothing against full circles. Why do you ask?
