After a middling first season I'm getting into The Wheel Of Time (Bezos' adaptation). I know people like it so I'm thinking about starting the books. But then the last 90s sci-fi I read had not so subtle homophobic undertones and I'm like, will it be DEI enough for me?

Specifically Apple's monopolistic favouring of the App Store, underinvestment in Safari and refusal to let old devices upgrade or swap their web browser, combined with the move in the States to divorce Chrome and Firefox from the funding that keeps them alive. Not to mention the whole AI thing.
