I just realized that Ice Cubes has an iPad app too. 🙈 I‘ve been switching back and forth between the stock mastodon app on the iPad and Ice Cubes on the iPhone. Has anybody tried Toot? It does look good in the App Store Screenshots, but I’m afraid that it doesn’t get updated as often and might lack features. Last I checked, it was quite behind the stock mastodon app. Are things any better now?

OMG! I just got to try #bluesky 😳 It is still very much in development, but I’m so looking forward to future updates! At first blush, it does seem clean and quick!

I love Mastodon, but I like using social media as an escape. Mastodon for some reason feels way too serious! 🙈 But then again, maybe it’s just me trying to adjust? Creating a whole new community is certainly a daunting task - but I'm all up for it. Just wish it didn't come at the cost of leaving the warm community I had built on Twitter behind. 🥺

Today is one of those days when you get to consume cannabis (Bhang, one of its edible preparations) legally in India. And it’s not just legal, but highly encouraged - and is available in almost every street.

In case you're wondering, no I will not be participating. Not because I’m against it or anything, but because I remember my dad consuming it once and him subsequently giving me a lecture that spanned the entire evening - a lecture that made no sense whatsoever. 🙄

As much as I love Twitter, Elon has ruined it to a point where I don’t think I can continue using it anymore. Removing Text message-based Two-Factor Authentication was the last straw for me. So hey, Mastodon! I think I'll be much, much more active here from now on.

For those who have downloaded their #Twitter archive data, you might want to check out this Twitter Archive parser by @timhutton:

This converts your Tweet archive to #markdown and HTML, and replaces t.co URLs (which will break once Twitter goes away) with their original versions.

Afterwards, it asks if you want to try downloading the original size images.

Just ran this myself without any major issues, really easy to use as well.
