Anything special about this lockscreen of #phosh? It's rendered with #gtk4 🥳 (I didn't do much here, this builds on the GTK work of Matthias Clasen for making GtkRoot a lot easier to implement and @arunmani 's Phosh porting work):

With a bit of #blur in #phoc we can have more vivid backgrounds while text still remains easy to read. As this happens on the compositor side there's basically no performance impact (but we rely on two small, not yet merged wlroots patches). This is mostly groundwork for more things to come.

Speech input is one of the missing features in #Phosh's stevia. I had looked at several possible solutions but didn't want to pull in a ton more dependencies into stevia itself.

While looking for something completely different I stumbled onto #vosk-server which runs fully locally but can be talked to via websocket and so I could punch that into the prototype I had already alying around (video has audio):
