The neighbourhood cats sure get big around here...
It's not strictly speaking egg fried rice, because the rice is cauliflower due to dietary restrictions, but I am *very* full now.

Even if it’s no longer a small form factor, at least the new #GooglePixel 10a is a lot cheaper than #Apple 16e. Specs might be better but it’s just having a mid-budget priced phone available.
Mildly regret not buying the SE 3rd gen.

Google's Pixel 10a arrives on March 5 for $499 with specs and design of yesteryear

Google's new budget phone is here, but don't expect a big upgrade.

Once you realize it’s not “age verification”, but actually “identity verification”, then it’s easy to understand that the real goal is “papers, please” for the entire internet.
I don’t understand why the #CBC #FigureSkating commentators have simply stopped actually commentating. All they’re doing is exclaiming and talking about feelings.

A note that "confidently incorrect" is not just an LLM problem. It is also a human problem.

I see it all of the time, particularly in nerdier spaces like here on the Fediverse, Reddit or Hacker News.

Marshall McLuhan wrote about how a communications medium _biases and shapes_ the messages passing over it. Perhaps unsurprisingly, I suspect that the modern web generally biases towards engagement. And being confidently wrong on the web means engagement.

How do we incentivize humility?
