Full of worms, sadly. Some kind of pleurotus I think.

Allotment haul from Tuesday: celeriac, parsley root, black salsify, white salsify, carrots, beetroot, Jerusalem artichoke.

In the back garden we have oca, and *probably* some potatoes, though I don't expect to find out until Saturday.

This will make for very nice roast veg with the goose, I think.

Trying out the 3M secure-click 800-series elastomeric respirator (I forget exact model number right now). No source control, but I'm less concerned about that when nobody around me is wearing a mask. I also don't like that the filters are exposed.

What I'm testing today is
a) comfort when wearing for longer periods
b) whether the speech diaphragm is helpful in the main weekly context where I'm conversing with people indoors.

I had a grumpy day today and did not manage errands or phonecalls, both of which I kindof needed to.

I did, however, harvest some more potatoes from the #SoupGarden. The soup kitchen volunteers will turn them into soup.

I also finished mending a jumper.

Brought back from the allotment:
- parsley
- chervil
- sage, to dry
- spinach
- chard
- celeriac with stems
- a rather nice-looking beetroot
- two Kohl rabi
- a few oca tubers
- a very large quantity of 'Manifold' tubers -- this is a hybrid between Jerusalem Artichoke 'Dwarf Sunray' and a sunflower.
They got even more chonky overnight. Supper tonight is going to be tasty.
King oyster mushrooms are getting chonky now, I think tomorrow it will be time to nom them. Picture doesn't really do them justice.

Wondering what animal left this... clearly more than once because some of it is fresh and some of it is moldy.

I mean, I *think* it's poo. It looks too big to be earthworm castings, though I guess it could be if it was a really big worm.

Biggest squash started going a bit, er, squashy at one end, so I had to process that this afternoon, which wasn't previously part of The Plan.

Removed ~2.8kg of pith and peel (including the soft bit), so this monster gave us 5kg of food.

I cut it up, but it won't all fit in the instant pot, so I have to cook it in batches.

Waiting for the train.
