The biggest challenge I've taken on yet... New video coming Monday, March 16 at 7am PT!

One of the latest highly misleading articles from @404mediaco got called out by the intellectually honest independent journalist @violetblue concerning the situation with @protonprivacy and the FBI.

404 heavily contributed, if not instigated, what is now widespread FUD all over the Internet about Proton. Although the genie is now out of the bottle, as of the time of this writing, 404 Media have yet to retract the article they wrote and apologize for it. 404 Media has a track record of this behavior. It's surprising they haven't yet faced any legal repercussions for it.

Give the journalist's article a look:

Before bug bounties, before root shells, before the word hacker meant anything at all there was a blind kid who whistled 2600 Hz and bent Ma Bell to his will.

Joybubbles tells the story of Joe Engressi, the original phone phreak and a reminder that hacking started as curiosity, play, and defiance.

"This has an em dash—it must be AI!" 😩

GenAI uses em dashes, in part, because it was trained on material written by authors like me. Without our consent, might I add.

The machines can pry my em dashes from my cold, dead hands.
