My timeline is filled with more than 50% meta talk about how mastodon works, how bad twitter is, about the great and the bad features of mastodon and so on. That's great and I understand that this is good and normal, especially after so many of you joining over the last days.

But for someone who is here for over 5 years it a little hard, the other original content is drowning in meta talk. So please add CWs to them.

... weil zu viele Normalverdiener ihr mühsam verdientes Geld für "Vermögen" halten und denken, SIE seien betroffen.

Sind sie aber gar nicht.

Kleiner Gedanke über den nachzudenken sich lohnen dürfte: Was wenn Mastodon/das Fediverse gar keine Twitter-Alternative ist, sondern etwas eigenes? Wie würdet ihr dann ran gehen? Wie geht ihr damit um vielleicht das erste mal auf einer Plattform zu sein die vornehmlich von Freiwilligen in ihrer Freizeit betrieben wird? Was bietet eine Plattform ohne kommerzielle Interessen für Chancen?

Ich will keine Antworten darauf, ich wünsche mir nur, dass ihr dem Gedanken für euch selbst einen Moment folgt
