OMG
The whole setup is a little bit heavier than I expected.
Went bouldering with a colleague. It was really nice and I felt like my general physical health helped for what was my first time in 20 years climbing a wall. I wasn't tired yet when we had to go, but I already can feel my sore muscles. I can't wait until next time!
When searching online for the European electrical plug pinout, the first result is a facebook post from an electricity company with wrong layout. When you tell them to remove it, they reply with "thanks for you comment, please give us 5 stars".

With a lot of fiddling I eventually managed to make my EV Charger work in Home Assistant. This EV charger (seems to be made by German subcontractor bebro for both VW and Porsche) had no HA integration last time I checked.
My first attempt at writing an HA integration failed - the complexity of making something as simple as connecting to a websocket and pushing the values in a few entities discouraged me, despite managing to to interesting stuff like auto discovery.
This solution works with a simple python script and MQTT. When it works well enough, I'll dockerize it, publish it on github and forget it.
