i believe in the peoples, not the individuals.
and if someone thinks: “it’s the racism”, or “it’s the white nationalists”, or “it’s the anti-immigrants”, i say i don’t believe we were ever less all-those-things, we only hid them better, but wanting to “have more money now”—or something akin to it—is what i think got us where we are.
and i know it doesn’t match many narratives, but just think hard about it, and you’ll start seeing it too.
