First it was stupid time to look for the laptop upgrade because everything became shipped with Win11, now it's even more stupid because of RAM and storage price skyrocketing. Let's hope my current devices will serve me until this madness is settled down (or until we all burn in the nuclear fire, whatever comes first).

Downsides of "everything has USB-C now": people sometimes expect that if you connect two devices with USB-C cable, these devices automagically become friends in exact way you'd like to combine them.
