@marcoarment Living in a densely populated part of a city, in an apartment building that spans half the city block, the location of “Home” was pretty far off. I searched and searched for ways to correct this, but the only thing that might have worked would be to update my contact card to use a different address that was actually closer to my apartment than Apple Maps’ service thought. By the way, this was in San Francisco, so I’m sure other cities are worse.
@foodnoms This UI update is very much appreciated!

Claude Code History Viewer makes it so much easier and delightful to review my conversations.

It's the difference between spraying and praying using the one off techniques you hear about on social media, and actually reflecting on what worked and what you want to try differently.

“Software eng has changed, we’re orchestrating agentic tools in a development lifecycle”

“English is the new programming language, we’re moving up a layer of abstraction”

Ok I’m with you. But the inevitable next step:

“Most devs don’t need to read the code”

That one’s uncomfortable.

@StewartLynch phew! glad it was relatively not catastrophic. 😅
@scottjenson this is the best talk I’ve seen in years. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective and pushing others to do more with their imagination.
@StewartLynch thanks for the heads up. Will disable automatic updates until there’s more info about the quality on the release.

Omarchy - it’s fun, it’s polished enough to inspire me to keep digging to polish it up. But it’s got a ton of rough edges for someone coming from macOS.

But I appreciate that the rough edges are pushing me to learn more about operating systems, drivers, firmware. Linux is wayy different from the last time I tried using it for a desktop (>10 years ago).

ChatGPT Atlas is kinda not good. I'm thinking this is just new product wrinkles. But people, we have known ways to deal with that. Use a beta period. Don't just launch half baked software.

I'm afraid the collapse of software quality is accelerating.

@arcticleo any news on this app? looked at your personal site and GitHub, but didn't see it anywhere. if you're still running the TestFlight, I've got some 3D Blu-ray mkvs I'd like to throw at it.
