Delta Chat#deltachat user profiles are private and invisible to the public. No one can discover you, or your children, via phone numbers or any other public handle. Chat profiles exist only on user devices. No PIN and no "SMS verification code" ever asked or needed.
The lack of "public discovery" also means you don't auto-discover others via phone numbers or other public handles. Getting in contact with others is "opt in": you scan a QR code or click an invite link to join a group or open a chat.

i have the display somewhat working so far (i get a white horizontal bar at the top and splatters of red and green pixels which slowly accumulate and the screen gets whiter and brighter) but i cant figure out what's wrong. i've tried looking into iommu, mdp4, display driver, axi clk, etc. but nothing was really clear for me

Users have their privacy pervasively violated by corporations, criminals and governments. There are endless privacy and security weaknesses in software with exploits of those happening on a large scale. Operating systems, browsers and other apps need to do a much better job protecting users. Enormous progress is needed on both privacy and security.

What I did is redirect my phone number to a SIP phone number. I configured it in #linphone on #waydroid and with this workaround I am able to make and receive phone calls with audio working in #FP5
