It just occurred to me that across the 4,000 #Mastodon servers each with their #MastoAdmin plus their moderator teams... we have more content moderators tracking reports and complaints than Twitter does.

For the folks who keep asking about how we're going to scale, we're on it.

@debirdify I'm trying to use the tool and made a CSV of "followed" accounts. Went to import CSV and was careful to select Merge. Import click gave me a 400 gateway error. Any suggestions? Thanks!

@alex It makes me wonder how "free" the mid-late 1960's wereโ€”and for whom.
@kairyssdal Hello, glad to see you! My take on Twitter from an anthropology perspective was written last Thursday night--the night EM took over. One thing that stands out is his seeming commitment to uncertainty and instability. How could anyone want to invest with him if he lauds those traits?

@alex I'm really sorry you had to go through that. Those particular types (and I know exactly who/what "type" you mean) don't seem to be able to see the power that they have and how much of it they have (mostly because they've had it so long and never had it questioned). Maybe they are Bro-Boomers or Brooms/Broomers (e.g., trying to 'sweep away' good ideas and people who they don't understand).

*Nothing against Boomers per se, just matching the term with Bro to get "Broom."

@markproxy @mikarv Thank you.
@CatherineFlick Congratulations! Can't wait to read it!
