Working two rows of brioche at the same time was a game changer for me! It’s a bit like double #knitting. I hold the knit stitch colour to the right 🧶

No curl cast off
I love the clean, minimalistic look of this cast off 🤩 I have used it on cotton cardigan sleeves and love that really neat finish🧶
That said ☝️ the name is a bit misleading… While it curls much less than a standard cast off, it will still curl if your cast-off edge is too long. So: I love it on the sleeves, but wouldn’t use it for the hem. For that, you’d need a deeper folded hem to avoid curling 😉

Remember to stretch 🙆🏻♀️
We all know #knitting is an amazingly exciting hobby, but there’s one downside: it’s quite sedentary.
You may have seen Dorothea’s hand exercises, but, as someone rightly pointed out, knitters need to take care of their neck and shoulders too!
The human head weighs around 5 kg — so these muscles are doing a lot of work! 🏋💪
‼️ Remember: if you experience any discomfort or pain while doing the exercises, stop immediately and consult a healthcare provider.

How do I make a buttonhole in linen stitch?
I make a classic 2-stitch 2-row buttonhole, but cast off in pattern, i.e.:
👉 cast off 2 sts as follows: sl1p wyif, k1, pass previous stitch over, sl1p wyif, pass previous stitch over, continue in pattern ✨
👉 on the next row make 2 backward loops over the gap ✨
👉 on the following row knit the backward loops in pattern ✨
🧶 🧶 🧶
Here’s a simple bobble:
👉 kyok, turn, p3, turn, CDD.
But… I prefer to knit backwards instead of turning and purling. So this is how I do it 😉🙌🧶
Have you ever tried #knitting backwards?
