Time continues to be a flat circle, this is from April 1987 talking about how you will still need programmers even with application generators.

As a side bar, I hope Stephen Manes feels vindicated, since the whole article is really about wanting a more accessible language to usurp C. Which is exactly what happened with Python.

Just a few years ago, a prolific enterprise firewall manufacturer released what should have been an incredibly powerful home WiFi router. Let’s just say…there were issues.

Remember my RAM issue from January? After months (warranty forms, posting back the 2x8GB modules to factory, and waiting), the brand finally honored their lifetime warranty and I received my new RAM this morning!
Back to 32GB! 🎉
A relief, because I've been running over the last few months with 16GB, and it was tight for intensive work.

I just got to add a new unusual 5.25in drive to my collection today! This is an MPI B51 single sided drive, used by a TRS-80 Model 1 here.

Bitsavers has an excellent brochure for it: https://www.bitsavers.org/pdf/mpi/brochures/MPI_B51_B52_Brochure.pdf

I find the variety of full height drives fascinating and am semi-seriously trying to collect examples of as many of them as I can. I love the 8in style drive door on these!

This is the coolest shareware PC game I have ever seen. On the right, is Stunt Race FX for the SNES. On the left, is Boppin for PC in a lookalike SNES box by Universal Software Alternatives. They apparently did a bunch of games like this, there was an ebay seller clearing a bunch out. It seems like they're pretty much all gone now though.

I haven't opened it yet, it's technically sealed but not in great shape. I will open it later, but thought this was too cool not to share now.
