The next head scratcher is how to reset this #hikvision NVR apparently there should be a reset button on the board.. there is not?
Purchased three sets of these HDMI KVM over IP…. can I get them to play together…. nope.. Hours of head scratching, no real docs.
Open them up. Each set is a different version, and all talking slightly different. FFS.
Idea being you can flip the vlan of the terminal you’re on (with an RX attached) and the kvm will pop to that TX.

Was not expecting to swap out the home switch that feeds all the rooms in the apartment. It’s been odd with POE for a little while but today. Nope.
Did have a spare but effort to swap out. Whilst trying to work for the afternoon.
Uplink to the office is now 10G which is nice. Didn’t think my cabling job would support it 😇
