search wasn't integrated into browser bars until much later iirc. and we all preferred different search engines! i myself used metacrawler mostly
but it was much better to have it be 2 than 1, on a bunch of levels!

since i can do a search and then group export (THANK YOU), i guess i can do most of what i need that way
