I am unmelted and back from Las Vegas and am so pleased to say I had an absolute BLAST @BSidesLV . From the comms, to the quality of talks, to the interactions (minus the one person who insisted I was a recruiter; news to me), it was a week of awesome work, great connections, and amazing energy. I was not so much a fan of the heat, but that's not stopping me from already thinking about what next year might entail.

I've been terrible at posting updates online recently BUT! I am in vegas all week! I'll be presenting some new research at BSides tomorrow ✨ and will be meandering around so please ping to say hi!

The best part of attending conferences is seeing other people's cool research, and there's some real good ones this year that I'm super excited about, by @mle (ever wonder about ICS exposure) @ntkramer (KEV all day), and Christian Dameff (hospital hacking) to name a few.

The week hasn't even started and I am already HYPE!

My NOVID has ended...finally tested positive for covid (on probably one of the worst days for me to do so 🙃). Cheers to the last four years for being so good to me, and for what appears to be a mild (if not ill timed) infection so far 🙏🏽

I'm super excited to be at ACSAC 2023 tomorrow presenting some work from my time at UCSD IT titled "An Empirical Analysis of Enterprise-Wide Mandatory Password Updates"!!
