Just watched the Spanish film Sirat.
What a powerful, intense, visually stunning film!
And the musical score is sublime. Especially if you appreciate dark, grinding techno.
Its a tough, merciless story that unfolds, has traps and falls and is an absolute gut-punch to your senses and emotions.
Challenging watch but if you seek non-Hollywood, truly unique cinema with masterful directing this is one not to miss!
If you take just one thing away from #FOSDEM this is it.

As the year ends, I’m realizing what a roller-coaster it’s been. I wrapped a long, rewarding, but eventually toxic career chapter in February. Then I pivoted away from big tech, moved toward ethical tech, & connected with people building privacy-focused, FOSS & open-source tools. I’ve heard honest stories, hopeful & stuck. The barrier isn’t the tech. It’s knowing where to start & who to trust. Thanks to those daring to take the first steps with me.
