Some career news: I’m leaving NPR as part of the layoffs that dramatically reduced the company’s workforce.
I’ve decided to go back into Ukraine to keep reporting.
But this time, alone.
I took this photo today whilst out on my #SU2C #StandUp2Cancer #SU2CWalkiesChallenge with my assistance dog Obi. We've shuffled over 50 miles (60 mile target) to raise money for cancer research and are almost at £300 of our modest £500 target.

If you know me, you know that I struggle an awful lot with my mobility to the extent that for much of the year I struggle to even leave my bed due to neuropathic pain. But I want to do something important this, the 51st year of my life. So I am taking part in the Stand Up to Cancer Walkies Challenge. 60 miles. I am asking YOU for your support, please!
