@chergert hey christian, what is the policy of ptyxis regarding copy-on-select?
I see that you refused a few times to do anything about this and the only way to deal with this now is ctrl-shift-c/v.
is there some sane reason (like security) why this is not an option?
syncing standard clipboard and selection clipboard was super useful in tilix and I still miss it. now, f44, even the selection clipboard doesn't work
There are now more than 10 defence companies mirroring the LVFS on a daily basis.
Do you think it would be appropriate to ask those billion-dollar companies to sponsor the LVFS too? On one hand, "billion dollar war companies pulling GBs of firmware for free" and on the other hand people might say the LVFS is being enshittified and we'd also need to define what "good" vendors should get a free pass.
It does feel like the start of a slippery slope, and both options make me feel uneasy. Ideas?
"Die Daten scheinen nun ziemlich eindeutig zu bestätigen, dass wir in den nächsten Monaten einen El-Niño-Zyklus erleben werden, der alle bisherigen Rekorde bricht."
Einer von unzähligen Gründen, Klimaschutz als Grundlage für alles zu sehen.
Both #Dell and #Lenovo have agreed to be premier sponsors for the #LVFS as part of our new sustainability effort. Over 145 million firmware updates have been deployed now, from over a hundred different vendors to millions of different Linux devices.
With the industry support from Lenovo and Dell (and #Framework, OSFF, and of course both the Linux Foundation and Red Hat) we can build this ecosystem stronger and higher than before; we can continue the great work we've done long into the future.

anybody knows the state of samsung #s20fe with #snapdragon (r8q) regarding #postmarketos?
wiki says: "This device has been tested with postmarketOS, but its device package has not yet been added to the postmarketOS repositories."
there was recently some project (or a user) that claimed porting of #grapheneos to non-pixel devices. anybody know the name?
Note: I am aware of the security shortcomings of this approach.
