Finding UK alternatives for digital products, platforms and services.

We need a UK based digital service infrastructure. Services that support rapid innovation, as well as growing and scaling businesses. Our hope is that, by mapping what exists and highlighting the gaps, we can begin to create an ecosystem that delivers what we need, here in the UK.

Lol - talk about burying the lede. I'm such a doofus.

@aadeacon if I understand this correctly, it's between two US parties, i.e. the US house judiciary committee and 10 US companies. As far as they are concerned, this is a matter entirely contained within the context of US law.

The scary part is that we've all known and accepted this under the auspices of 'free trade' and 'special relationships' as some kind of inter-continental gentlemen's agreement. Now it's over.

This is precisely the kind of thing we're talking about, when we're talking about #digitalSovereignty - even if Palantir wasn't a very dubious organisation, we still shouldn't be sending our citizens data to overseas orgs. The risks are too great, and the outcomes are permanent.

#palantir #goodLaw

Not wild about this "intelligent dependence" concept of #digitalSovereignty seems to wholly misunderstand the potential threat. Especially given the change in the world in the last 2 years.
